Just joined so I\'m not sure if this is a \"bug\" or a \"feature\" :)

Have two work units running (hyperthreaded CPU). Both\'s CPU times are stuck, and each shows a percentage of about 9.5% that wavers a little up and down.

Thoughts?

This is a ..uh.. feature :)

The percent done works like this.
1. A work unit is downloaded with X amount of parameters combinations to run [in your case 10]
2. The amount of time it will take to computer each of the X paramerter combinations are roughly the same. Therefore the first parameter combination will take 100/X % of the total time. [in your case 10 %]
3. There is an estimate for how long that first on will take but its many times not very good making the percent complete have to readjust the estimate after the estimate time expires. [Quick count to 9.+ % and then it drops back again]
4. After the first parameter combination is complete; an acurate estimate of the how long it will take to complete the rest of the parameter combination are known and the percent complete will be MUCH more accurate from then on.

We are working on ways to improve the initial estimate for how long a single parameter combination will take on a volunteers computer.

Three hours later still didn\'t move from 9.5%. I reset the project. This time broke that 9.5 ceiling in short order, seem to be running fine. One thing though. For some reason three work units are going (should only be two). It\'s the top two then one fifteen units down. Two will say running-high priority while the third says waiting to run although all three are chugging along.
