I\'ll call these Snowbird WUs.........they use resources, but they don\'t produce anything. I abort them when they don\'t start accumulating CPU Time.

537387
537259
537100
537064
536610

They were attempted on a single-core AMD running Ubuntu 32-bit.

A virtually identical computer runs them with W2K with seemingly no problem.

That\'s how 5.64 (?) behaved for me. You have the current app, right?

I know you probably do, but I thought I\'d ask anyway.

Hi Kathryn....funny thing is the last successful completion on that puter was a 2.64. The 2.66s are the ones (so far) not accumulating CPU time.

I also use Ubuntu 7.10 and BOINC 5.10.28 on all my other Linux puters and they are not having an issue with 2.66...........puzzling.

I\'m downloading another to test this am.........bandwidth on the MM server is horrible today........download is taking forever.

Finally got some downloaded....same result, no CPU usage (as reported by Ubuntu System Monitor). I\'ll just wait for the next version and see if they run.
