All the work that just downloaded failed to download with MD5 errors.

All the messages are the same so i will just post 1

Typical messages;

30/01/2008 17:28:24|MindModeling@Beta|[error] expected xxx12345678xxx, got xxx12345678xxx

I did a reset of the project and all other files could be downloaded.

It looks like the clock of the \'message board\' server is also wrong.
We are at UTC+1 so it should be 17:44 UTC now

On Win XP I get cheksum errors for some but not all. Those that do pass cheksum run to completion.

Linux has dl\'d about 20 work units and no cheksum errors so far.

added: Ooops! I am getting MD5 errors on Linux too.

I also did a reset on the project.

It got all the new project files. But only about half the work units passed the MD5. The other half gave the same MD5 error.

I just purged all the workunits and recreated new ones.
[When this happens data points previously calculated and returned are not re-requested; thereby not completely restarting from zero.]

Okay I just got a bunch more of download fails, all MD5, I do not know if you have purged the WUs and started over yet.

Ok I identified the problem.
The new work generator was producing multiple workunits data files with the same name[that of course causes problems]
This has been fixed and new work units are being generated now

Hello,
please make the number of WU per host limited, so that tons of failed WU shouldn\'t be produced...

thanks,

Joined last night, got the MD5 checksum error like everyone else.

I did an update on this machine, and noticed 2 out of 50 came through. Now I realize we should be letting the admins fix this, but was curious if there were good wu\'s being made, but the bad ones still in the pipe, so I updated a few more times.

Next batch I received 7 out of 50, 13 out 50, 3 out of 39, then 12 out of 37.

I got a few good ones, too, maybe they are left over from the old batch? Now I seem to be getting fewer of the good ones, but I am certain Jack will look into this as soon as he gets into work.
