Message 1444 - Posted: 8 Jul 2009, 16:56:26 UTC

Am using Fedora 10.

When I tried to connect to the project using http://MindModeling.org/beta/, as stated on the home page, connection could not made. When I changed the address to http://www.MindModeling.org/beta/, connection went smoothly.

However, messages arrive insisting that http://MindModeling.org/beta/ is the correct address. Trying again, a dialog pops up saying that the URL is not that of a BOINC project.

Any advice on what might be happening?

Tried http://MindModeling.org/beta (without the final backslash) and that appears to have worked.

It connected but then insists that the address is invalid (in the Messages tab).

Upon a new retry with the orginal address, a different dialog pops up saying that the project is currently unavailable. This is new compared to the other dialogs and is far more informative. Status page (of a day ago) said everything was working so I thought something must be wrong. Will try again on Thursday.
