MySpace Tom, Thanks for your involvement, John. It's great to see that you're interested in contributing to MindModeling outside of crunching numbers. To answer your questions: (1) Currently, we're looking to update the website so it's easier to navigate, easier to understand, and provide more information and functionality. We've been looking at other volunteer sites and taking ideas from them, as well as including some of our own original ideas. These include (but are not limited to): new visual design and layout, a banner and logos, job description pages, publications, technical news feeds, tutorials, and quick guides. For starters :) (2) I think some people on our team are really interested in doing the visual redesign of the website, but no one on the team has a lot of experience with CSS. We would love some CSS templates to start with, but I can't gaurantee we'll use them in the final design. (3) I think varying blues, blacks, and whites are a good color scheme for any logos, banners, and CSS templates, but we're DEFINATELY open to new ideas. I know there are some websites out there (can't think of any off the top of my head) that have preset color schemes for website designs. I hope that answers you questions, and thanks again for your active participation!!!! Oh, and I like the statement at the bottom of the banner. Maybe it could be changed, but I can't think of anything better right now. Tom

I have a better idea now of what you guys are doing. Probably best to let you guys make the changes you want to make, then see what it looks like. When your finished with the major functional and navigation changes, if i can offer some improvement, i will.

We were hoping to get more activity and involvement out of this contest, but it looks like it never took off. We may try to re-initiate it in the future when we have more active volunteers and work to crunch. Thanks for your contributions!!!!

We may try to re-initiate it in the future when we have more active volunteers and work to crunch. Thanks for your contributions!!!! I think that would be a good idea. While there's no work, people don't come to the forum that often. I know I don't, today I just happened to be doing a chek to see what's going on here. Will check in again sometime.
