I do not receive the tasks for already long period of time. Does anybody else have such problem?

I hope that the project did not die.
May be the founders can tell us some news about development?

I haven't gotten work in over a month, even after updating the project, updating BOINC, resetting, and attaching/detaching.

As we've been developing new models to run we've done some maintenance to the MindModeling.org infrastructure . We'll have some real big jobs soon, so be prepared for some heavy crunching :)

My PC and my laptop always ready to help to developers in such projects, but you stoped to send us the tasks and did not tell us any news. I am afraid repetition of history with Artificial Realms (project about Artificial Intelligence) when we were crunching a lot of work for a very(!) long time, and the project was closed without an explanation of any reasons.

P.S. Sorry for my english.

Killy,

If you're wondering why there hasn't been any recent workunits to download please read the news feeds on the front page. Expect new workunits when our researchers complete some of their current mind models. We're sorry for the downtime, but rest assured we are actively working on new, important research projects and we WILL need heavy crunching power soon.

Ok, now i have the tasks, but there is one question:
Strange calculation progress: starting from 45% 46% 47% after 47% it goes again to 46%, then again and again. Program can not get more than 47% , is it ok?

I had posted the same issue on another thread. Check you CPU usage. The task is probably not really running. They just seem to get stuck and I aborted all the ones I had.

"mm_sbcl.exe" is always loaded 98-99%, i tried to re-attach the project, but the same situation.

OK, maybe there is a difference on Windows vs Linux. The tasks just get stuck on my Linux machines around that 4x% mark and the CPU drops to zero.

You might just let them run then. Previous projects here would finish the first 90% in the first minute and then take the rest of the time on the remainder. As long as the CPU Time column is incrementing, it's probably doing some work. The Progress and To Completion have never been very accurate on previous work units.

Well, I finally got tasks for my Windows machine now. However, they are all completing with computation errors. Looks like this batch of WUs has some problems.

Yes, I see that after a while processings of 1 % (46 %-47 %-46 %) the task comes to the end with an error.

Sorry for the errors. We've had to delete that model from our jobs queue, because it is proving difficult to run on our volunteers. If you're computer has currently downloaded workunits with the "DSST_6" prefix, abort them immediately.
