We're winding down in some of our research initiatives and finishing up our primary models. We're currently coordinating with other researchers at RPI(Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute), and they may supply us with fresh batches of models to run while things are slow. I'll keep you posted with any news.

Our contacts at RPI do not have any current work availible for us to crunch, but they have shown interest in future endeavors for jobs requiring large computations. In the meantime, we looking at one or two possible jobs from our fatigue research that we may be submitting in the next week or so.

So is this project dead? Haven't seen any work for a long time and the last message I saw here said possible new work. But that time has long past so didn't pan out? Is this project going to have anything within the next few weeks or should we just dettach?

Now I can't say for sure, but I believe our next job will be ready in two, three weeks (unless something drastically changes). I can say with some confidence that we probably won't have anything ready this week so it's up to you whether you wish to detach or not. We're currently working hard developing cognitive models and it's only a short matter of time before we're gonna need a powerful resource to do an in-depth search of a parameter space. Sorry for the lull in work.

It's hard to give a good estimate right now of when new work will be running on Mind Modeling. Our primary goal over the last few weeks has been backups and recovery, hardware and software analysis, and system performance optimization. We're expecting massive changes to the Mind Modeling infrastructure over the next couple months, and it's requiring a lot of careful thought, debate, and consideration. I would like to say new work will be running this week or the next, but I hate to make promises when we're currently focused on other priorities. I hope this downtime does not leave a bad taste in the minds of our volunteers, because we are actively working to make Mind Modeling better in the long run (more robust, reliable, etc.). We're making moves to take Mind Modeling from beta to fully operational. We look forward to your volunteer work when that time comes. In the meantime, good luck crunching!

Its been like 6 weeks since anyone at the project posted anything, do you have any updates for us? even just a note to say you are still working on stuff and that you haven't abandoned the project and any current or potential crunchers?
