Well when a Mommy model and a Daddy model REALLY love each other .....
Cognitive Models run at MindModeling@Home are authored from members of MindModeling.org. These researchers hail from acedemia (RPI), industry (ACS), and government institutions (AFRL PALM Lab) who all have the common goal of better understanding of human cognition.
MindModeling@Home models are first submitted to feeder projects:
MM@RPI - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
MM@ACS - Adaptive Cognitive Systems
MM@Palm - Performace and Learning Models
Feeder projects are not volunteer sites. They are projects for the reasearchers to test their models in an environment like MM@Home. These projects exist to enhance the productivity of model development. They also function as a quality assurance filter for MM@Home volunteers. Once a model is in working order researchers can request that the model be elevated to run at MM@Home. After an internal code review, a baby MM@Home model is born.
MindModeling@Home is fun
