Compute error occured immediately after starting.

e.g. https://mindmodeling.org/result.php?resultid=20218532

Tried on two different computers and resetting the project.

https://mindmodeling.org/workunit.php?wuid=28692927

Seems like only linux clients can run the new tasks.

From the Stderr output, I noticed that slahes are used instead of backslahes:

"Checking if I should run task...
1475595970 - Task Done Found at C:\ProgramData\BOINC/projects/mindmodeling.org\python2.7_3.0_done"

Would be pretty funny if this low-level typo caused the error.

Yep there was an issue with the python app we just updated.
We have pushed out a fix and it should be resolved.

Let me know if the problem persists.

Thanks,

Brandon

Great to be seeing work units again! Unfortunately I am also still getting errors. First, it was looking for python2.7.exe, while there is only python.exe and pythonw.exe. I copied python.exe to python2.7.exe. Now, I am getting this error:

19:18:37 (1344): wrapper: running C:\ProgramData\BOINC/projects/mindmodeling.org\python2.7_3.0_env\bin\python2.7.exe (mm_python_bridge.py Tetris-AI simulator mm_test3 2)

could not import simulator -- No module named _tetris_cppapp exit status: 0x1
19:18:38 (1344): called boinc_finish

https://mindmodeling.org/workunit.php?wuid=28823650
Looks like a file was not found to start the calculation.

Native Python v2.7 Application (Cross Platform) v1.11 (sse2)

I've reset the Project to see if this helps.

Confirming 2 windows hosts with errors today, and all other hosts that have also been sent those WUs also generate errors.

Only my computers generate produce few days thousands of errors until i am not stop project in boinc manager..(but i have not time too).... Desperate situations at various BOINC project should solve david anderson temporarily suspending the BOINC Manager berkeleyservers from this project(or other) worldwide... but we volunteer here about lower "caste" people... when a project manager can lose two days later and just say sorry "guys" im here now ..trala la "professional"
If you do not like legitimate criticism I'd better not depreciated))

Could you let us know somehow (front page or message board) when there is a fix so I (we) can reenable the project? Thanks.

What's the ETA on a patch?

12:30 PM CST here and just noticed something fishy and came here to find an error count breaking 2500 errors so far.

I'm seeing lots of
Native Python v2.7 Application (Linux Only) 1.11 (sse2)
units. They crunch, with fairly wide variation in run times. When i log in, i see units that are validated, and with credit, but i'm not seeing anything in BOINCstats.
For example:
task 20813551
work unit 29173904
computer 67590
sent 9 Oct 2016, 18:42:26 UTC
status Completed and validated
run seconds 3,782.90
cpu time 3,699.20
credit 54.92

There are similar older work units that should have had plenty of time for credit.

Hello Everyone,

Update on the Python Patch:

We are running test jobs currently to check the python app for Windows. I will have more information as soon as those are complete.

Thanks for your support and happy crunching,

Brandon
