Julia creates files outside BOINC data folder ("mkdir: permission denied" on Linux)
Upd: File in filder /home/<user>/.julia/lib/v0.4/*.ji

And uses only one core (Windows, mt version)

Hello Sergey,

Thanks for letting us know.

We will resolve the issue of Julia creating files outside of the BOINC data folder as soon as we can

Julia should only be using one core so we will take a look at why the mt app was sent.

Thanks for supporting us and happy crunching,

Brandon Nolan

Hi there,

sometimes after uploading completed Native Julia app WUs I see a message in Notices tab of BOINC Manager warning me that x86_64 computers aren't supported by the project. This message vanish soon (I mean I can't see it anymore in Notices tab after I swhich to another tab and the go back to Notices one) and on Tasks page in my profile at MM's site I see that uploaded WUs are completed and validated but there's a warning in stderr output. Below there's an example.

Hello Curious

The debug message is just a warning that the way the modeler was doing their indexing in Julia is depreciated but the code will still run so it's nothing to worry about.

The Julia app we are currently running is a 32-bit app which would explain the "x86_64 are not supported" messages. All our other apps are 64-bit so this is the only app you should get that warning for.

Thanks for supporting us and happy crunching,

Brandon
