Tom,
As i'm the only one that has entered a banner in the competition, just to let you know, don't feel under any obligation to use that banner i made. I'm not insulted or anything like that if you make your own banner because of lack of choice.
I have not had time to make more banners so maybe its best that you guys make a banner or logo that will match whatever work you are planning on this website yourselves.

I have a better idea now of what you guys are doing. Probably best to let you guys make the changes you want to make, then see what it looks like. When your finished with the major functional and navigation changes, if i can offer some improvement, i will.
The Docking@home project, in my opinion, has by-far done the best job of overhauling the basic boinc website; http://docking.cis.udel.edu/. They had a team of student web developers gave the website a full going-over. Contact them here. No other boinc powered project has come close to the work done on the Docking website.
I'll see if i can do some more logo's.

This is my first entry for the competition;
I don't have the time tonight but i will take some time when I'm free during the week and do some more.
It can be altered if necessary. If you don't like the statement under the "MindModeling" heading, it can be changed.
Question 1: Your news item implied that you were making more changes to the website than just the banner, what else are ye planning?
Question 2: If i designed a special set of MindModeling CSS style sheets for this website to make it look really cool, would you be interested? Jack helped me out there a while back with a particular problem. I would like to re-pay the favor. But i don't want to interfere if you guys have other plans.
Question 3: Do you guys have a preference for a particular "Theme" or set of colours you would like to see used in the logo or banner? I used red in the entry above, you might not like red.

I made them for Jack over a year ago but i think he forgot about them. A nice banner would help to give your project some identity!
Just edit "index.php" in your html/user directory to add the image.
I can alter them if necessary

Your rss news feed needs times and dates. Unfortunatly you have to edit this by hand each time you edit your project_news.inc file to add a new news item.

You were doing this for your 3rd and 4th last news items but you stopped for the last two news items.
You have to edit - <pubDate>Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 GMT</pubDate> each time you post news.
If you don't add the time and date, some news readers don't pick up the new news stories.

Detach from the project and try again. This project has some capital letters in the URL and you must use them!

Jack,
Do you think next month will be a good month for work? Considering putting the team on MM@home. But the team seem to be kinda voting so i might loose the vote, i don't know.
I personally think this project is pretty stable, would you agree with that statement?. Does it need babysitting or can i suggest this project for beginners or machines that are used in the work place?. (Needs to be stable)
MM@home science is cool :)

Is this project likely to change alpha/beta status or change its internet address in the next month or so?
Or what is the supply of work units likely to be?

hehe, just kidding..
nice job, this project has a lot of little nice things on the site that make it stand out from other projects.
The individual project status bars on the homepage are imo the best idea ever... but the graphics on the my account page are pretty cool too.
So you seem to like the new look?

This problem is still there.
I just edited my team info and when i clicked \"Update\", it removed most of the html from the team banner section.
But if its any consolation, this must be a problem in the boinc source code because it happens on other projects from time to time. I don\'t know why.
